Fredrik Strömberg - new labor lawyer at TechSverige 

At the turn of the year, TechSverige is launching a high-quality and industry-specific employer service. We are pleased to welcome Fredrik Strömberg as a new employment lawyer - a valuable reinforcement that further strengthens our offer and commitment to supporting the specific needs of IT, telecom and tech companies.

Can you tell us about yourself and your background?

- I am originally from Gothenburg and visit my family on the west coast as often as I can. I studied law in Uppsala and have really only dealt with labor law since graduation.   

You have previously worked as an employment lawyer for other employer organizations. What do you take away from your previous experience?

- I have had the privilege of working with a variety of collective bargaining areas and counterparties in previous assignments. This has taught me the importance of always trying to find consensual solutions to negotiation issues and that most of the time it can be done. As a rule, there is much more that unites than divides, even when the tone is high!   

What was it that attracted you to the position?

- TechSverige is currently on a very exciting journey, which is not often undertaken in the organizational world. I immediately felt that it is something I want to be part of. Then, of course, it is a very fun and important industry with special needs and requirements.   

What do you like to do when you are not working?

- I have a great interest in music and go to a lot of gigs and play by myself. In the summer I also try to play golf as much as I have time.
