Welcome Ebba Svenburg

Ebba Svenburg is one of the labor lawyers who further strengthens TechSverige's offer for increased member benefit. Ebba, from Malmö, has been recruited as responsible for the southern region.

- It is true that I come from Malmö, but I have lived in Stockholm in recent years. I have many years of experience in labor law and most recently come from Advokatfirman Vinge where I worked with some of the largest tech companies in Sweden. Since December 2, I have been working as an employment lawyer and negotiator for TechSverige.

What does it mean to be responsible for the South region?

- This means above all that TechSverige will have a local presence in order to be as close as possible to our member companies in the southern region. By identifying the specific needs and challenges of member companies and the industry close to the southern region, we believe that we can create the best conditions for providing them with the service they need and demand. 

What attracted you to the position? 

The tech industry in Sweden is facing major changes and challenges, but also fantastic opportunities. To be involved in building a new employer organization and at the same time work with such a socially critical and fast-growing industry sounded incredibly exciting to me. To be able to work with what I love - labor law - and at the same time be part of TechSverige's journey was hard to turn down. 

What do you prefer to do when you are not working?

I love cooking good food but I love eating good food even more! I don't say no to a night out on the town but enjoy just as much being at home scrapping with my little family. Moving in one way or another on a regular basis has always been fun for me, although currently during the toddler years it mostly consists of running after my mischievous daughter.
