Security, support, and structure – that's why membership in TechSverige is important for Bredband2

For Victoria Lindqvist, the collective agreement is a central part of stable and secure employment. As HR partner at Bredband2, she sees how the agreement creates security in times of change and frees up time to develop culture and leadership. In addition to the collective agreement, membership in TechSverige and the HR network People in Tech is a valuable support in Victoria's daily work.

With a background in human resources from Umeå and several years of experience in the telecom industry, Victoria Lindqvist has worked both broadly and strategically with HR. Today, she is an HR partner at Bredband2, Sweden's third-largest fiber provider with approximately 250 employees.

"Bredband2 is a company with a lot of drive and a strong sense of community. There's always something happening, and there's a clear desire to move forward," she says.

A central part of HR work is the collective agreement, which Victoria describes as an important cornerstone of the business.

The collective agreement provides a stable foundation. There are clear frameworks for salaries, working hours, and processes, which allows us to focus more on culture, leadership, and development instead of negotiating every detail. It also creates fairness and transparency, which strengthens trust within the organization.

Victoria particularly appreciates the value of the collective agreement when there are changes in the organization.

– In connection with changes in working methods and organization, the collective agreement has provided a clear structure for how the process should be implemented and how employee participation should be ensured. This creates security for both the organization and its employees, which in turn leads to a clearer and more constructive dialogue.

In addition to the collective agreement, Victoria highlights membership of TechSverige as an important support in day-to-day HR work, not least the access it provides to advice on labor law.

– Having a contact person to consult on both minor and major issues provides a great sense of security. It is valuable to be able to quickly obtain expert support, especially in more complex labor law situations.

Another valued aspect of membership is TechSweden's HR network, People in Tech. Here, Victoria has the opportunity to contribute her own experiences and learn from others.

The network gives me the opportunity to learn from the experiences and perspectives of other HR departments in the industry. We often face similar issues, so it's valuable to be able to discuss challenges, share lessons learned, and gain inspiration.

For Victoria, People in Tech plays an important role in bringing together HR professionals within the same industry in a shared forum.

– It's important because we can share experiences with others who face similar challenges. At the same time, you get updates on current HR and labor law issues, which means you can stay up to date without having to search for everything yourself.
