The tech sector has become an increasingly important part of society, a prerequisite for our economic development and for how we live our lives. This places high demands on the industry's leaders and that they take their responsibility for the continued sustainable development of Sweden.
There is an annual shortage of 18,000 tech specialists until 2028. A key to attracting new skills, strengthening the industry's development and continuing to act as an enabler for a competitive Sweden is that we develop leadership in the industry.
In light of this, TechSverige has developed a leadership manifesto where we put our foot down around a common set of values and a concrete vision for the industry. The manifesto is intended to engage and unite leaders at all levels of the tech industry, but also to inspire other leaders in other industries. The aim is that the initiative will:
Tech is an enabler of sustainability, competitiveness, jobs and prosperity and has established itself as a new base for the Swedish economy. This places high demands on us as an industry and that we as leaders in tech take our responsibility. By developing our leadership and taking our place in the public debate, we enable continued sustainable development and transition and inspire other leaders - both in Sweden and in the global tech arena.
