IT priorities - what do the parties think?

This is a short summary of a survey carried out by IT&Telecom companies in spring 2010 with the political parties and their youth associations. We hope you will find it interesting and thought-provoking!

The survey is based on our desire to contribute to the debate on the future of society. What priorities need to be set? Which areas are most urgent, from a growth and welfare perspective? Our perspective is how information technology, which has fundamental consequences throughout society, can and should be used. Our view is that Sweden must embrace the opportunities of information technology to a greater extent than today. We are advanced today - but according to the EU, the US, for example, invests four times more in research and development in IT.

In the format of the annexed summary, we have had to condense the wording of the questions themselves, as well as the sometimes quite detailed comments that were also given. However, all the comments, answers and questions are available on our website www.itotelekomforetagen.se. To take note of the nuances that the various respondents have sometimes added to their answers, we recommend that you read them.
