Costs of implementing the Data Retention Directive

In early December, the Government submitted the proposal on traffic data retention to Parliament. The legislative period ends on December 23 and the vote in Parliament has been postponed until after the New Year. The bill is the Government's final proposal on traffic data retention. IT&Telekomföretagen has updated the cost summary that was carried out about two years ago.

The purpose of the summary was to show the full picture of costs that the sector is expected to bear, as well as to briefly comment on possible impacts.
