Degree project at Lund University: Increased knowledge of consumers' information needs and purchasing decisions regarding IT products for sustainable consumption
The IT&Telecom companies, through their Environmental Council, in collaboration with Lund University and their International Environment Institute, have been involved in master student Ana Marton's thesis "Empowering consumers - the potential of product-related environmental information for ICT consumer products to trigger sustainable consumption".
The thesis provides the industry with further knowledge about what guides consumers in their purchasing decisions regarding sustainable consumption of IT products and what environmental information guides consumers in these purchasing decisions.
