I used these words in an interview with P4 Västmanland earlier today, as the main message I wanted to convey to study and vocational counselors (SYVs). About 60 SYVs had gathered in Aros Congress Center in Västerås on Wednesday morning. It was Vägledarforum, a collaboration between the County Administrative Board and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise that organized a seminar where, in addition to me, representatives from Västerås Science Park, byBrick, IT-Hantverkarna, the Armed Forces and Pingdom made presentations. All speakers emphasized the importance of social skills for those who work in the industry.
