Fredrik von Essen, IT&Telekomföretagen, together with the SYD winners of Best Service: Quickfinder UF with Fredrik Björklund, Daniel Wester, Jesper Malmgren, Malin Johansson and Kajsa Lundborg

Yesterday, 25/3, all competition categories were decided in the Stockholm version of Young Enterprise's event Våga Vara Egen 2013. Due to the large number of teams, the competition had been divided into two parts, NORD and SYD, with a joint award ceremony at the Stockholm Waterfront Building yesterday.

Already last week Quickfinder UF won the award for best business plan, with its smart solution where you keep track of key chains and other things that are easily lost via your mobile (cf. previous blog post below). In the competition "Best Service", where IT&Telekomföretagen was the competition host, Quickfinder was again the winner yesterday, by winning first place in the SYD version of the competition.

lWinner of the NORD version of Best Service: FairTreat UF with Anton Molund, Rasmus Schaffert and Jacob Rosel

The winner of the NORD version, FairTreat UF, also has an IT solution as the basis of its service. They have developed a solution where school students can take tests that are graded in a guaranteed fair way, by the teacher not being able to see the identity of the student until the test is graded. Like QuickFinder, FairTreat was a multiple winner, and also won the Sustainability Award for the environmental savings of doing all tests electronically.

Congratulations also to the two runners-up, Nailtastic UF and Eldsjälar UF
