Conflict threat averted for telecom industry

IT&Telecom companies and SEKO tonight accepted the mediators' proposal for a new agreement for the telecom industry. This removes the threat of a conflict that would have broken out on Thursday night.

- We are pleased to have reached an agreement and thus avoided a conflict that threatened to have major consequences both for the industry and for society as a whole," says Anne-Marie Fransson, Director of IT&Telecom within Almega.
The agreement is for three years and entails an increase of 6.8 percent during the agreement period, which is in line with the rest of the market.
