Kaplan and Kajsa in the Karlavagnen
In Wednesday's Karlavagnen in P4 with the program title "Do you surf fast or is it slow and messy?" both IT Minister Mehmet Kaplan and Kajsa Frisell from IT&Telecom companies participated. Listen afterwards here.
In the program:
SVT is currently taking a deep dive into broadband access - and there are big differences across the country. Is it okay that this is the case? What are the consequences? Are you having trouble running your business? Are your kids left out of the conversation at school because they can't stream movies and read blogs? Or do you have such a good connection that it works perfectly to work from home from time to time?
There is also a debate on mobile coverage. Can you always make a call or do you have to run to a rock in the backyard for it to work?
Wednesday's Karlavagnen in P4 talked about what fibers, speeds and mobile shadow can really mean.
Minister for IT Mehmet Kaplan participated in the program, as well as Kajsa Frisell from IT&Telecom, who answered questions such as what high surfing speed really means, where consumers can turn with questions about their subscription, and who should be responsible for ensuring that everyone in Sweden has access to good connectivity.
