The future meets reality

Today, Arena Welfare Technology has come to Skåne and Hässleholm. The theme for the day is fall prevention, an area that is hot with great interest, just over 70 participants from about 20 municipalities in Skåne. Fall injuries are one of the accident areas that cost society the most both in terms of suffering and financially.

During the day, about 10 companies had the opportunity to show what they can do in this area. Companies that were there showed everything from systems that warn when something abnormal happens to platforms that convey information / data to the right customer care, care or property. A couple of our member companies were there - Aifloo/Noomi, Sensative, Vital integration and presented themselves and their services and made contacts.

The meeting was organized together with the Vinnova-funded project MoTFall By helping to organize the day, we show how well the public sector and the business community work together in an effort to give older people increased security through digitization.

A key insight is that a combination of several activities is needed to address the challenge of falls. Therefore, the project will also create a collaborative arena for stakeholders in health and social care, such as need owners, politicians, health innovators, academia, interest groups, etc. The aim is also to raise awareness among politicians, relatives and the elderly about falls in society, costs, needs and possible solutions.
