Criticism of the Swedish Transport Administration - over 2800 cases in the queue
There is growing irritation among companies building broadband that authorities are taking too long to issue permits.
On April 23, IT&Telekomföretagen's Kajsa Frisell was interviewed on Ekot Swedish Radio about the Swedish Transport Administration's handling of permits for broadband construction.
"The government's goal is for 95 percent of Sweden's households and businesses to have 100 megabit broadband by 2020. The Swedish Transport Administration's handling of permits means that the goals may be impossible to achieve," says Kajsa Frisell.
