Sustainable supply chains in the IT and telecom industry

Creating sustainability in supply chains is something the Sustainability Council is passionate about, and many of its members are now internationally organized to combat both social and environmental abuses.

Published today Sustainable supply chains is published today as a step in the process of understanding the industry's context. The publication illustrates the complexity of supply chains.

Creating a single product can require tens of thousands of contracts between different parties, and ensuring that all stages of production are done in a desirable way can be both difficult and costly. More collaboration is therefore desirable.

The industry welcomes the increased interest in creating sustainability in supply chains and would like to encourage all good forces to work together to counter any irregularities.
