Anders Olsson, CEO of Telia Sweden
Telia has an important role in society, especially in these times when many people and organizations depend on our networks and services. We want to help our customers, protect our employees, and act in solidarity to reduce the risk of infection. We do this in different ways. The ability of employers and workers to work flexibly is being put to the test.
What do you want to achieve?
Telia contributes with both technology and knowledge to help businesses around Sweden meet this need, from smart tips and services for working at home to dimensioning companies and public organizations' communication solutions for increased needs.
What do you offer (describe the proposal/offer in more detail)?
In addition to developing customers' existing solutions with more capacity and new features, we also offer some selected services free of charge, such as simpler meeting services that companies can quickly get started and use.
We also work with our own preparedness. Telia has established routines and processes to be able to handle different types of unexpected situations and in the event of a major crisis situation, a crisis management team is put in place immediately and we have contingency routines that cover 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We have also extended the possibility for our employees in Sweden to work from home - with the exception of our business-critical functions such as operations monitoring and customer service. Our offices and our stores remain open as usual.
