Broadband Forum crucial for further broadband rollout
The broadband expansion is not complete. As we at IT&Telecom companies have long pointed out, joint efforts are needed to ensure that everyone in Sweden has access to fast and stable broadband. The Broadband Forum has played a key role in the expansion so far. It has enabled national, regional and local stakeholders, companies, organizations and authorities to meet and discuss common challenges. And we are convinced that the Broadband Forum can continue to play an important role in the future. IT&Telekomföretagen has therefore today, together with the Swedish Urban Network Association and Byanätsforum, written to the Minister for Digitalization Anders Ygeman and pointed out the importance of the Broadband Forum being given a renewed mandate.
