Heavy jury to select AI Swede of the Year 2020

On November 11, the 2020 winner of the newly established AI Swede of the Year award will be announced. The jury consists of a wide range of carefully selected experts in digitization from the public sector, academia and business.

The jury includes Daniel Akenine, National Technology Manager, Microsoft Sweden:

- With every new technological shift, there are pioneers. People who see the opportunities before they are obvious to everyone else. This award can help us shine a light on these opportunities and make the rest of us see them too.

Louise Callenberg, Head of Digital Renewal and Collaboration at SKR, is also a member of this year's jury and emphasizes the importance of the award:

- When something is new, it takes courage to break habits and pave the way. In Sweden, we need to apply more AI and to achieve this, some people need to lead the way. It's about being a role model for others and inspiring more people to take the step and use AI to benefit more people. The AI Swede of the Year is a way to draw attention to this and I am honored to be part of the jury that decides who it is.
