At the Telecom Area meeting on November 6 was discussed continued information efforts linked to the future phase-out of 2G/3G and PTS work with broadband promotion. The 5G issue was also on the agenda.

The Council's working group on cloud services met on November 9 ahead of the upcoming meeting of the IT Operations Inquiry reference group.

On November 10 , the IT Skills Council held its last meeting of the year, where the report on skills needs and the policy proposals to be taken forward were discussed.

The AI Summit was held for the third year on November 11. In connection with this, the AI Swede of the Year was also presented; a newly established prize awarded by IT&Telekomföretagen together with its partner Teknikföretagen. The prize goes to a person who has contributed to the development and visibility of Swedish AI. Markus Lingman, chief physician and development strategist in Region Halland, was chosen as AI Swede of the Year 2020.

On 12 November, IT&Telekomföretagen participated as a speaker at a government seminar on privacy and data-driven services organized by the Swedish Data Protection Authority, the Swedish Consumer Agency and the Swedish Competition Authority.

On November 16, the Directors-General of PTS and the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority were invited to a digital meeting where they were informed about what the industry is doing and what issues we think are particularly important regarding 5G and EMF.

On 18 November, the autumn meeting of the Sustainability Committee was held, in which IT&Telecom companies participated as a member of the organization.

A meeting of the Sustainability Council took place on November 25, where, among other things, the business plan for 2021 was decided. On the same day, IT&Telekomföretagen also published the new website where the industry's initiatives to meet the sustainability goals in Agenda 2030 are gathered.

On November 27, a webinar was held for the AI Swede of the Year 2020.

The IT&Telecom companies within Almega signed new collective agreements for IT companies with all counterparts (Unionen, Sveriges Ingenjörer and Akavia) on November 30. The new agreements apply to salaried employees in IT companies and extend over 29 months. The total cost framework of 5.4% includes both wage increases and increased pension provisions.
