Time for Agero's hosting day at Womentor 2021

Today, Thursday, June 17, Womentor's host day in Womentor 2021 takes place. In a digital webinar, Agero's CEO Patrik Frisk, among others, will talk about leadership for increased gender equality.

- Compared to many other companies in Womentor, we are a smaller company. This gives us different perspectives and approaches that we would like to contribute to the program. We also think it's an honor to be the host company for a program like Womentor, so when the question came up, the answer was obvious to us," says Agero's CEO Patrik Frisk.

How does Agero attract women to the industry?

- We've done various things over the years from supporting initiatives such as Datatjej, offering internships for high school students and graduates, and promoting women as role models. Being part of Womentor is also a big thing for us in that work. We also work hard to ensure that women and men enjoy working at Agero equally, for example we have parental pay.

What should the industry at large do to attract more women?

- Make sure you are the company that women and men want to work for. For example, make sure there is no gender pay gap. Make sure that the management team is equal. Encourage women and men to take equal responsibility for children, for example through parental pay. We also need to tackle unhealthy norms and jargon. Is it ok to pick up at the preschool at 3 pm without getting any comment about leaving early? How do we put teams together and give everyone the same chance? What activities do we do at the conference that attract both women and men of different age groups? There is a lot to do here!
