Here is the jury that will select the AI Swede of the Year 2021
The jury includes Elena Fersman, Head of Global AI Accelerator at Ericsson:
- Sweden is one of the world's most innovative countries with strong industries. The development and application of AI is important for both business and the public sector. The award contributes to increased focus on AI in Sweden and highlights role models who have worked on the development, wider dissemination and increased acceptance of AI.
The jury is chaired by Åsa Zetterberg, Director of the Swedish Association of IT & Telecom Companies:
- In a rapidly changing world, there are always a few people who have the courage, knowledge and power to lead the way. Those who go that extra mile that means so much to many others and to development in general. It is these role models that we want to highlight and motivate with this award in order to drive the urgent development of AI in Sweden.

Nominations for the award are accepted on aretsaisvensk.se and the winner will be announced during AI SUMMIT 2021.
About AI Swede of the Year:
The AI Swede of the Year is an award presented by IT&Telekomföretagen. The award goes to a person who has contributed to the development and visibility of Swedish AI. The winner will be presented at AI SUMMIT on November 18.This is the second year in a row that the prize is awarded and last year's winner was Markus Lingman, chief physician and strategist in Region Halland.
