MSB carries out communication campaign to companies
In November, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) is conducting a communication campaign aimed at businesses to raise awareness and knowledge about preparedness for different types of crises and ultimately war.
With this initiative, MSB wants to increase awareness and knowledge of preparedness issues and provide support to actors to increase collaboration at local, regional and national level. The initiative contains several parts:
- Knowledge about the threat situation, concrete tools and methodological support for continuity management and information security, and information about rules and laws. There are also filmed interviews with experts who talk about the role of companies in Sweden's preparedness, the threat situation, continuity management, human resources and information security.
- "Ready for the next crisis?" - filmed interviews with business owners on how they think and work on their preparedness, with examples from the food industry, hygiene product manufacturers and an IT-based company.
- Reports from regional dialogue meetings to promote collaboration between the public sector and business will be published. They will be held in Skåne on Oct 26, Värmland on Nov 19, Norrbotten on Dec 7 and Västra Götaland on Dec 14.
