Tech Awards Sweden - new competition highlights the possibilities of tech

- Through the Tech Awards, we want to inspire and empower, but also spread knowledge and highlight the important contribution of digitalization to the development of society. We do this by rewarding and celebrating companies, organizations and individuals who innovate and create value for their customers, employees and society at large with the help of tech," says Åsa Zetterberg, Director of TechSverige and chair of the jury.

The competition includes the award categories Årets Sustainability Award, Skills of the Year Award, Most Valuable Use of Tech and Årets tech company. In addition, the 'Tech 50' will be presented, a list of the most influential people in tech.

- IDG is driven by the belief that technology should be used to make the world a better place, and the Tech Awards is a perfect opportunity to recognize the people and companies in the industry that are doing just that. TechSverige and IDG are a 'perfect match' as organizers of an event that we hope will contribute with extra energy to the industry and become the annual, recurring and obvious industry party for everyone in tech, says Joakim Allwin, Managing Director at IDG.

Haval van Drumpt, CEO of Tre Sverige, is one of the selected members of the jury that will choose this year's winner;

- Technology, innovation and start-ups are part of Sweden's DNA and lead the development of society. I am therefore very happy to be part of the jury for Tech Awards Sweden. An important competition for the tech industry, where we can highlight the innovative companies and employees of the future.

The competition is open for entries on techawards.se until January and the winners will be announced at an industry event in March 2022.
