Per Schlingmann: "The Tech Awards help to show the world the important role the industry plays"

The idea of the event is to reward, celebrate and spread awareness of good initiatives and work that demonstrate the benefits and opportunities of tech. Per Schlingmann, entrepreneur, author and speaker, is part of the jury that selects the winners of the Tech Awards Sweden, which includes the categories "Tech Company of the Year", "Most Valuable Use of Tech", "Sustainability Award" and "Competence Award".

How do you see the role and contribution of the tech industry to society at large today?
- "I am convinced that digitalization and technological development play a crucial role in solving several of our challenges, such as climate change and the need to develop our welfare services in a time of more elderly people and rapid medical developments. In addition, the companies in the sector create jobs and act as an innovative engine for all sectors, the entire economy and society," said Per Schlingmann.

- It is a great honor of course! It's so fun and exciting to read all the nominations!
