They could be named the most influential of the year at the Tech Awards 2022

In early February, Tech50, the list of the most influential people in tech in Sweden in 2022, was published. The list was compiled by representatives of IDG and TechSverige and highlights 50 people who, through their efforts, contribute to the development and visibility of tech and the opportunities of digitization.

At the Tech Awards Sweden in Stockholm on March 22nd, we will award the person on the list who has made the biggest impact over the past year. Five finalists have been selected and have the chance to take home the award. Here are the finalists:

Helene Barnekow, CEO Microsoft Sweden
Leads one of the industry's heaviest companies, which has just increased its footprint on Sweden even more with the opening of its Swedish data centers. Leaves the CEO position in April for a new career as a leadership consultant. Has a strong focus on gender equality and sustainability.

Maria Henriksson, Director of Kalix Municipality
Broke new ground and led the way for all other leaders with her crystal clear communication after the major ransomware attack that crippled the municipality during the winter.

Christian Landgren, CEO Iteam, initiator of the Open School Platform
The face of the Open School Platform user initiative that has shaken up IT Sweden and created waves internationally. Also an active debater on public IT and open source issues.

Binette Seck, co-founder Changers Tech

Social entrepreneur, inspirer and CSR profile who works for an inclusive tech sector and to get more people to apply for careers in tech. Named IT Woman of the Year 2021 by CGI.

Jörgen Warborn, Member of the European Parliament, M
Member of the European Parliament with a background as an entrepreneur and who has profiled himself in digitalization and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Artificial Intelligence.
