TechSverige in Almedalen: Digitalization for sustainable growth, innovation and welfare

What does it really take to make Sweden a leading tech nation?

Given the central role that digitalization and the tech industry play for competitiveness and sustainable societal development, these issues should be placed higher on the political agenda. The government's goal of being the best in the world at exploiting the opportunities of digitalization is not enough. Sweden needs a much more ambitious and coherent tech and digitalization policy.

TechSverige invites you to a political election debate based on the new report "A Tech Agenda for Sweden", a concrete action plan with policy proposals for politicians and decision-makers with the aim of taking advantage of the opportunities of digitization and securing Sweden's role as a world-leading technology nation.

At the seminar Digitization for Sustainable Growth, Innovation and Welfare in Almedalen, TechSverige presented the main conclusions of the new report. Representatives from the parliamentary parties' youth associations led the debate. Leading tech profiles commented on the debate and offered insights into the future of sustainability, skills supply and welfare.
