About the role of industrial policy expert
As an industrial policy expert at TechSverige, you will enable the development of the industry and member companies. By being knowledgeable in telecom and digital infrastructure, as well as inspiring and driving, you will also have an important role in Sweden's continued digitization and sustainable growth. You will have contacts with member companies, politicians and opinion leaders to influence developments. Together with your colleagues, you will be in a stimulating environment and work to ensure that TechSverige remains relevant with strong credibility.
Your mission will involve, among other things;
Creating and nurturing various networks to engage and work closely with our member companies
Monitor and influence developments in the tech sector's priority issues with a focus on telecom and infrastructure issues such as 5G, broadband, mobile coverage and telecom regulation. This also includes EU monitoring and international cooperation. Outreach work by representing the tech sector and being a spokesperson. Maintaining regular contact with member companies, politicians and other key people. Monitor and pursue important industrial policy issues, follow investigations and political decisions. Drive, initiate and deliver results in various projects and initiatives. Respond to Replies to public consultations and write reports.
There is also a lot of cooperation with Almega and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
Your background
We look for you to have a relevant education as well as experience in the industry and advocacy work. You have a strong commitment to societal issues in general and digitalization and entrepreneurship issues in particular. You are particularly interested in and knowledgeable about digital infrastructure and telecoms, and have a good understanding of the political landscape and government structures. We look for you to have experience in giving presentations and to be a social team player who is happy to take a central role in various contexts. It comes naturally to you to drive projects and processes forward, invite people to events, write reports and debate articles. You have a good grasp of legal texts and complex information, present it clearly and contribute new ideas. You are also used to producing evidence for advocacy and communication.
About you
To thrive in the role at TechSverige, you are a good communicator with strong self-leadership, drive and integrity. You have a high ability to collaborate, a sense of service and unpretentiousness. You have the strategic height as well as a strong operational ability. You communicate fluently in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
