Digital skills are a prerequisite

66.5% of the Swedish population aged 16-74 have basic digital skills, compared to the EU average of 53.9%. Four EU countries have a higher share, with Finland and the Netherlands in the lead.
Basic digital skills are a prerequisite for participation in the digital society. The EU has set a target of 80% of adults having basic digital skills by 2030.
