New collective agreement with Swedish Engineers and Akavia in Telecom

TechSverige within Almega has today signed a collective agreement with Sveriges Ingenjörer and Akavia for employees in the telecom sector. The new agreement extends over 24 months and also includes pension provisions. The total value of the agreement is estimated to be within 7.4 percent.

- Together with our trade union counterparts, we have now signed collective agreements under the so-called 'label'. Our negotiations have been fruitful and all parties have acted responsibly. Says Einar Humlin, head of negotiations at TechSverige.

The wage agreement with the Swedish Association of Graduate Engineers and Akavia is a process agreement, where wage increases are primarily determined based on the company's economic and market conditions. However, unless the local parties agree otherwise after the wage process has been completed, the wage increases for members will collectively be 4.1% on April 1, 2023 and 3.1% for 2024.

In addition to the wage increases, the flexi-pension premium will increase by a further 0.2% from April 1, 2024 to reach 1.3%.

The contracts are valid from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2025.

- It is gratifying that we have agreed on a collective agreement that creates stable conditions for member companies so that they can continue to be competitive in the rapidly changing labor market and in the world around us, says Åsa Zetterberg, Director of TechSverige.
