Recent developments in the US on diversity and gender equality raise concerns. TechSverige sees inclusion as crucial for competitiveness, innovation and growth. As Sweden's new base industry, the tech sector has a responsibility to lead the way. Through our manifesto for tech leadership, we want to inspire more people to take a stand for the sustainable development of the industry and society.
The tech industry is an enabler of sustainability, competitiveness, jobs and prosperity and has established itself as a new base for the Swedish economy. This places high demands on us as an industry and as attractive employers.

In the tech industry, there are several companies that want to be the good examples that enable and show that diversity and inclusion are a matter of course for an attractive employer and for good leadership.
TechSverige wants to help inspire other business leaders - both in Sweden and in the global tech arena. That is why TechSverige developed a manifesto for tech leadership two years ago. The manifesto states that:
