Therese Sinter, Sogeti - winner of the Womentor Award 2013!
Therese Sinter, Information and Marketing Manager Sogeti Nordic and Group Communication Director Sogeti, was named the winner of the Womentor Prize 2013 on Wednesday evening in connection with Womentor Day.
The jury's motivation:
Therese Sinter, Information and Marketing Manager Sogeti Nordic and Group Corporate Communication Director, is a driven and experienced female leader who with great commitment and energy works to increase the competitiveness of the IT industry by developing more women in
leadership roles.
Therese has demonstrated by establishing the WinIT network:
- a personal commitment to making women visible and inspiring them to take their place and drive business in the industry
- good personal leadership in terms of acting as a role model
- a driving ability to strengthen Sogeti as a brand through the work of systematically and structurally driving business that connects the company, partners and customers in a nationwide network for women.
- Womentor is a very good and above all concrete mentorship program. I am extremely proud to be this year's Womentor award winner because I am passionate about getting women to take more space, in all roles within Sogeti and in the IT industry in general. I am happy to work at a company that has consistently and pragmatically worked with these issues and that has enabled concrete initiatives such as winIT, Sweden's largest network for women in the IT industry today, says Therese Sinter, Sogeti, winner of the Womentor Prize 2013.

Therese Sinter, Sogeti as an individual, together with HP Sverige AB as a company and Bodil Sonesson, Vice President Global Sales Axis Communications, as an individual, was one of the three final candidates for the Womentor Prize 2013.
The Womentor Prize is awarded for the second year in a row by IT&Telecom companies within Almega in collaboration with Computer Sweden. The award goes to the individual/company/organization that works for and
clearly contributed to increased focus on getting more women in leading positions. All with the aim of creating sustainable competitiveness in the IT industry.
The jury for the Womentor Prize consists of:

Jörgen Lindqvist, Editor-in-Chief of Computer Sweden,
Eva Halvarsson, CEO of Andra AP-fonden and
Jonas Stier, Professor of Sociology, Mälardalen University.
