IT&Telecom recruits head of industrial policy

IT&Telecom companies within Almega have hired Christina Ramm-Ericson as head of industrial policy. Christina has previously worked as State Secretary at the Ministry of Employment and the Ministry of Social Affairs and as Deputy Head of Coordination at the Prime Minister's Office.

- Digitization is one of the greatest opportunities of our time and at the same time a major societal challenge. It is an area where Sweden and Swedish companies should be world leaders. In my role as head of industrial policy, I look forward to helping shape the landscape for this dynamic industry," says Christina Ramm-Ericson.

IT&Telekomföretagen within Almega also hires Frida Faxborn as the union's project coordinator. Frida will also work as an expert on industrial policy with a focus on security. She has many years of experience from the Ministry of Justice and currently works as an advisor on information security issues and has previous experience from, among other things, the Ministry of Labor and the National Police Board as EU coordinator.

- The rapid development of digitization is extremely exciting and offers lots of opportunities, not least from a societal perspective. I want to contribute to this development, get closer to the business and work to ensure that the Swedish IT and telecom industry is given the right conditions. I look forward to contributing, together with my new colleagues, to the work of driving the members' most important issues forward," says Frida Faxborn.

- "I am convinced that Christina Ramm-Ericson and Frida Faxborn, with their broad experience, will help IT&Telecomföretagen to play its full role as an engine for the digitization of Sweden and to promote the interests of member companies," says Åsa Zetterberg, Director of IT&Telecomföretagen. "I am both happy and proud that these two stars have chosen to join us.

Christina Ramm-Ericson and Frida Faxborn will take up their respective posts in early January next year.
