The future after Corona: Ericsson, Microsoft and Google on students' top list

Things may look bleak for large parts of the economy, but we must not forget that there is a future after Corona, and that those who study at universities today will come out to another, much brighter reality. And then companies must nurture their brands so that they attract the best.

Universum, a research company, regularly surveys students about their dream employers. The latest report can be downloaded here. The responses have been broken down based on the type of education students are studying: civil engineering, university engineering, IT, economics and law. A clear trend is that IT students are also attracted to companies and organizations that are not typical IT employers, such as Volvo Cars, the Swedish Security Service and IKEA.

How are IT&Telecom member companies doing?

An aggregation of the responses from civil engineering, university engineering, economics and IT students made by Svenska Dagbladet shows that there are three in the top 12: Ericsson (place 2), Microsoft (place 5) and Google (place 11).
