An Olympic fire that never stops burning

Sundsvall municipality is a success story when it comes to digitalization and they have succeeded in building tomorrow's digital infrastructure already today. During a webinar, Marcus Matteby, CDO, Sundsvall Municipality Group and Peder Björk, Chairman of the Municipal Executive Board shared lessons learned from their work. They talked about how to meet digital demands and work to build a digital welfare Sweden. Johan Magnusson, Associate Professor at the University of Gothenburg and Swedish Center for Digital Innovation (SCDI) also participated and gave their views on digital infrastructure and the work in Sundsvall municipality.

-These are not sparklers. We have an Olympic fire and it never stops burning. We will jointly solve the challenges and then we have to think beyond classic models that often lead to lock-in effects in the systems we have, said Marcus Matteby, CDO, Sundsvall Municipality during the webinar.
