DEBATE: Digitalization of healthcare requires a special negotiation

TechSverige, together with Vårdföretagarna, Swedish Medtech and Lif - the research-based pharmaceutical companies, writes a response to Jakob Forssmed in Göteborgs-Posten 23/6. We jointly present a concrete proposal for a special Sweden negotiation for clearer roles and commitments, strengthened mandates, follow-up and co-financing for the implementation of a digital infrastructure for healthcare. We express the importance of the business community having the opportunity to contribute from day one, equally in a national negotiation.

The development of digital healthcare infrastructure is one of the biggest infrastructure projects of our time. All forces are needed and it needs to be right to strengthen innovation, patient benefits, a competitive business community and above all; future-proof Swedish welfare.
