Digital transformation for fast payments
Every year, around SEK 14 billion is paid out by the unemployment funds to around 238,000 benefit recipients in Sweden. For the Swedish unemployment funds, the Corona pandemic had a shocking effect when the number of members and applicants basically doubled overnight. It would never have been possible to respond to this onslaught without the combined power of pervasive digitalization. Without chatbots, automation and cloud connections that have enabled administrators to work from home and much more, many Swedes would have had to wait months for their payments. Softronic assisted in digitally transforming IF Metall's unemployment insurance fund, among others.
Anti-money laundering service
Softronic's CM1 anti-money laundering system is the leading anti-money laundering and anti-corruption system. It is a shining example of how our service contributes to society and helps companies and organizations find suspected money laundering through control and follow-up of new and existing customers.
By using CM1 to obtain KYC for new and existing customers, companies can easily and efficiently perform the checks, such as matching against PEP and sanctions lists (PEP and sanctions checks), and risk assessment of customers required by legislation. In 2020, the service had 37 billion PEP and sanctions searches
