The January 13th Minister of the Interior Mikael Damberg invited to a meeting to discuss how the state and industry can jointly contribute to strengthening Swedish security of supply. Åsa Zetterberg, Director of the Swedish Association of IT & Telecom Companies, participated.

On January 15, a commentary on the IT Operations Inquiry's interim report on the legal conditions for outsourcing was published.

On 26 January, IT&Telecom companies held a webinar highlighting digitization and welfare technology in our Nordic neighbors.

On the same date, January 26, IT&T participated in a dialogue arranged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Infrastructure on the theme of future Swedish digitalization policy in the EU.

During the month of January, a survey was also conducted to get a picture of how the industry was affected and also to get answers about how the full year 2020 looked for members and how they look at 2021. The results were presented on our website.

The Data Council held a meeting and invited guests were the IT Operations Inquiry's special investigator Annelie Roswall-Ljunggren to talk about the remaining work in the inquiry, and Daniel Melin, the Swedish Tax Agency, who talked about GAIA-X.
