Visolit - Swedish companies should strengthen their investments in digital maturity and security

A recent report from Visolit and the analysis company Radar shows major shortcomings: Many Swedish small and medium-sized companies have low security maturity and do not utilize the power of cloud solutions, but prioritize efficiency over innovation and security. In the report, we provide concrete advice on what companies should do to strengthen their digital maturity and security maturity.

- The situation is a significant business risk for many Swedish companies, which should immediately prioritize their work on digital maturity and security and seek external advice if necessary. At the same time, companies need support from the authorities, for example in the form of increased investment in IT skills training," says Johan Ripe, CEO of Visolit Sweden AB.

IT is no longer a support function, but an essential part of the DNA of businesses, putting the IT industry at the forefront of societal transformation and innovation. As recent reports show, the IT industry is also a strong contributor to expertise in other sectors, thus supporting societal transformation in all sectors. This increases the importance of technology and skills in society and underlines the central role that ICT can play for sustainable and secure solutions. This is a challenge and an opportunity that Visolit has taken several steps to meet, including initiating a dialogue with politicians and decision-makers as well as relevant organizations in Norway and Sweden. The collaboration with Tech Sweden and the report with Radar is an example of this.
