Share of women employed in the tech industry
According to the Gender Equality Index JÄMIX 2021, less than one in three employees in the tech industry is a woman.
- The sector faces some challenges. The biggest challenge is to increase the proportion of women among employees. Unfortunately, there are few gender-equal occupational groups with at least 40 percent women and at least 40 percent men," says TINA EKSTRÖM, CEO of the Nyckeltalsinstitutet.
JÄMIX is a tool that provides companies and organizations with a picture of the situation of men and women in the workplace and in relation to other companies in the same industry and other industries.
