"Only one in two engineering students graduates"

A survey shows that far too few people are still graduating from engineering courses. In a debate article in Svenska Dagbladet, Åsa Zetterberg, Director of TechSverige, Ann Öberg, CEO of Almega, and Anders Persson, Acting Director of Innovationsföretagen, write that we can no longer accept the current development and that the government should clarify the reasons for the many dropouts in engineering education as soon as possible:

"It is the knowledge-intensive service companies that shape the Swedish labor market. In order for Sweden to stand up to international competition, the supply of skills must be secured."
