Plenty of unicorns in Stockholm
A company that started as a startup and has since been valued at more than a billion dollars is called a unicorn. According to the Financial Times website Sifted, ten unicorn companies have been started at Stockholm University, which is third best in Europe.
Only Inseed in Paris (18) and the University of Cambridge (12) have started more unicorn companies than Stockholm University. KTH's nine companies are enough for fifth place.
