Tele2 - Climate neutral in its own operations

As part of a long-term plan to act on climate change, Tele2 has significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions. In Sweden, Tele2 uses 100% electricity from renewable sources since January 1, 2018, which has led to a reduction of emissions in its own operations by over 90%. Tele2 offsets the remaining emissions in its own operations. This means that Tele2 is climate neutral in its own operations.

Of course, Tele2 is not satisfied with this, but the next step is to significantly reduce emissions in its own value chain. Tele2 will do this in line with the requirements of climate science to limit the temperature increase to 1.5 degrees.
