DEBATE: Best in broadband is no longer enough - a digital makeover is needed

Modern and secure communication and broadband networks are the foundation for a sustainable digital transformation of society and industry. Sweden's current broadband strategy has served Sweden well but has passed its expiry date. As the government is now working on a new strategy for "connectivity" - that is, the connected society - a rethink and an increase in ambition are required. An early use of 5G alone can provide GDP increases of SEK 126 billion.
