TechSverige strengthens - recruits experienced General Counsel
The industry and employer organization TechSverige continues to sharpen its operations in the work of creating its own employer activities and maximum member benefit. Karolina Löf is now being recruited as General Counsel and will be tasked with leading the development of TechSverige's new employer service.
With more than 1,400 member companies, TechSverige is Sweden's largest industry and employer organization for IT, telecom and tech companies, and one of the largest associations within the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise. As the industry grows and develops, TechSverige's Board has in recent years driven the association's development to increase the long-term benefit of membership and attractiveness for companies in the tech sector. One part of this work is the decision taken by the Board in October to leave the current collaboration with Almega in order to be independent at the turn of the year 2025 and run employer and industry issues under its own auspices.
The union is now making its first major recruitment in order to ensure the best possible member service to member companies. In particular, Karolina Löf will lead the work of building up employer activities.
- We are incredibly pleased to have managed to recruit a star like Karolina. Her solid experience, proven strong legal expertise and good relationships - combined with her drive and development orientation make her a dream recruitment," says Åsa Zetterberg, Director of TechSverige.
Karolina Löf comes most recently from the role of head of litigation at the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and is a qualified litigator. She also has solid expertise in EU and international issues - something that will contribute a new dimension to TechSverige's employer activities.
- I am very happy to be part of TechSverige's continued journey and contribute to the development of a modern and industry-adapted employer service. The tech industry is an exciting and important industry that is of great importance for both job creation and Swedish competitiveness. I'm really looking forward to getting to know the industry and understanding the different needs of employers in order to create the best possible benefit for existing and future members of TechSverige," says Karolina Löf.
- "Karolina will play a key role as we continue to develop our service to member companies and sharpen TechSverige to become even more relevant and attractive to tech companies. Basically, it is about building a good quality and efficient employer service that is fully adapted to the unique needs and conditions of tech companies, concludes Åsa Zetterberg.
Karolina Löf will take up the position in January 2024.
