Welcome back, Maja Khailat Holmberg
TechSverige warmly welcomes labor lawyer Maja Khailat Holmberg back to the negotiation team after her parental leave and to be part of the new industry-focused employer service that TechSverige is now building.
What are you looking forward to now that you are back from your parental leave?
- Getting in touch with our friendly member companies and helping them with their labor law challenges. I also look forward to continuing to work on developing our collective agreements in a direction that is favorable to the industry. The tech industry is expanding and the rapid growth places high demands on companies. Collective agreements tailored to the needs of the tech sector are therefore crucial for employers to be both attractive and competitive.
During your parental leave, the decision was made to create a stand-alone TechSverige, will this decision in any way change the way you work in the negotiation team?
- We are working as usual, but of course it feels exciting to stand on our own two feet in 2025 and help build a new and completely industry-adapted employer service. We are a competent and close-knit team that is happy to join us on that journey.
Do members need to do anything when TechSverige becomes independent?
- No, they are members of TechSverige and we will continue to deliver a high-quality and industry-adapted employer service. Collective agreements are also not affected as it is TechSverige that signs the agreements with our trade union partners.
Åsa Zetterberg, Director of TechSverige, is very happy that Maja Khaliat Holmberg is back and on the journey forward.
- Together with her colleagues Lisa Eriksson, Karolina Löf, Einar Humlin and the others we will recruit during the year, she forms a very strong team in the employer activities that TechSverige is building up," says Åsa Zetterberg.
