Hogia's HR expert on TechSverige's new employer service

In order to provide an employer service based on your - our members' - needs, TechSverige has a reference group of small, medium and large companies from different parts of the country. The reference group includes Erik Douglasson, payroll and HR expert at Hogia.

How do you see the development of the tech industry and TechSweden?
The tech industry is in a very interesting time with major changes in our world. Technology is developing at a rapid pace, not least thanks to AI and where it can and will take us. At the same time, it brings challenges. Reports are coming from various quarters about a great need for more skilled employees who want to work in the field. At the same time, there is not as much interest in training in the field. This is something we need to turn around to be able to meet the needs we have going forward.

What do you see as important when TechSverige builds up our new industry-adapted employer service?
It is important to be able to continue to be a good support in various situations just as it has been so far via Almega, but now to sharpen it further with a specific focus on the issues that are relevant in our industry. The goal is to include everything good but to add things that may have been missing. We are having interesting dialogues in the reference group right now.

What advantages do you see with TechSverige's new industry-adapted employer service?
The big advantage is that we will be met by people in the employer service who are really experts in our particular collective agreement and can therefore provide quick and correct answers to various questions. Knowing that there are a smaller number of people who are really dedicated to our issues ensures a more personalized meeting but also a deep expertise of those who will perform the work. They will also have a greater opportunity to pick up signals from the industry to be able to push for the right development for the industry based on the needs that exist and put their great focus in TechSverige's direction.
