New employer service - ready for launch in 2025

With a view to January 2025, the development of TechSweden's new employer business is progressing rapidly. A strengthened team of labor lawyers spread across the country and a new digital employer service with AI tools will allow us to offer high-quality service around the clock. Karolina Löf, General Counsel and future Head of Employer Services, together with Einar Humlin, Head of Negotiations, explain how we ensure the best quality for our members.

How far has TechSverige come in developing the new employer service?

- Development is on track and moving forward at a rapid pace. Our main focus is to tailor services to our members' needs. That is why we value the strong commitment of our members who participate in our reference group and actively contribute to the development. With our expanded team of employment lawyers who will be located across the country, we can offer an accessible and quality employer service. Member companies with collective agreements will continue to receive free advice, but with better industry customization and at a lower price.

What is the status of the organization? Is the team in place?

- During the autumn, all new employees will begin their employment and undergo on-boarding to become even more specialized in TechSverige's collective agreements and the industry's most important employer issues. We are also securing our regional presence through our sharp recruitment in the south, north and west. When we become an independent TechSverige at the turn of the year, we will be nine competent labor lawyers and negotiators ready to provide our members with the highest quality labor law service. This means a higher level of service with more advisors in relation to the number of member companies compared to today. At the same time, we are developing our digital support as part of the new employer service. With a more easily navigable Employer Guide with generative AI, our members can quickly get help with simpler questions around the clock so that our labor law experts can offer even more personalized advice in more complex cases.

Tell us about the new AI support. What can you expect as a member?

- The AI support is part of the Employer Guide included in the membership and provides access to labor law self-help around the clock. In the tool, we use generative AI similar to ChatGPT, but the chatbot can only respond based on the information available on the Employer Guide and which has been quality assured by our lawyers. This means that you as a member will quickly receive a customized and summarized answer to your labor law question with reference to where more information is available on the Employer Guide, regardless of the time of day. The AI support is currently in the testing phase, where we are ensuring that the tool is of high legal quality and as user-friendly and helpful to our members as possible.
