AI Commission proposals welcomed - now the government must act
TechSverige welcomes the AI Commission's proposals that were submitted to the government today. The report "Roadmap for Sweden" contains proposals for measures that will help strengthen the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Sweden.
- "There are many concrete proposals that can help Sweden in the tech race. But this report must not just be a paper product - we must start acting immediately," says Åsa Zetterberg, Director of TechSverige.
TechSweden's AI reports, launched earlier this year, have had an impact, with several of the proposals and conclusions reflected in the Commission's work.
Among other things, the report emphasizes the need to establish computational power as critical infrastructure, ensure access to public data for innovation, and create an AI Task Force for rapid deployment - proposals that are in line with TechSverige's previous work.
- "We see this as a milestone, but now it is important that the government takes the report's proposals seriously and puts action behind the words. It is crucial for Swedish competitiveness and for Sweden to take a position in the global AI race, says Åsa Zetterberg.
