Hello CEO: Susanne Österström Dahlqvist, Oxio
Just over a year ago, Teknikhuset changed its name to Oxio. Now the Umeå-based company aims to be the best in Sweden for its employees. Oxio's CEO Susanne Österström Dahlqvist tells us more about the business in our article series Hello CEO.
- We help our customers develop their operations and business. We like to mix project deliveries and consulting in assignment areas related to web and system solutions, digital workplace (M365 & SharePoint) and business support. Today we are 35 employees, says Susanne Österström Dahlqvist.
You aim to be one of Sweden's best companies to work for. Why is this important and how will you succeed?
- We know that it is a success factor for Oxio that our employees are happy and satisfied employees with good benefits. Everyone wants to work in a good workplace with good leaders, fun tasks and a pleasant environment. We want to offer this to our employees by standing out on these issues and showing that we are good. Then our employees will be happy and stay with us. The success factor is to live up to what we say we are. We have fun together and a common mission to have satisfied customers. Then we will have a sustainable business over time.
- Our promise as an employer to our staff is based on involvement and participation. The opportunity to be able to influence their own development, but also to collaborate in teams with good and good leadership is important. All this should also take place in a warm working climate that is also characterized by a drive and a business approach to our customers.
How does Oxio use AI in its work?
- Our developers all have access to and use GitHub Copilot almost daily and can get help from AI to write, comment, refactor and review code. As for our other employees who spend more time "programming" in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, we use Microsoft 365 Copilot to create drafts, get assistance with developing presentations, summarize large amounts of information and more. Oxio has also developed its own agents that we have trained on our own material and which help us write, among other things, quotes and solution proposals and more. The AI usually does not solve the entire task, but it still requires understanding and expertise on the subject in question, but it usually provides a very good start that saves us a lot of time.
- We have stressed to our staff the importance of using AI responsibly and of carefully reviewing the material it produces. To give our staff something to lean on, we have therefore developed an AI policy and an AI strategy that all staff can access via our intranet. They also contain guidelines on how we should use AI in connection with our systematic information security work.
