Hip, hip hooray for us!

Today is no ordinary day. Exactly one year ago today, we changed our name from IT&Telekomföretagen to TechSverige.

My hope, and that of all of us, was that we - through our new name - would better reflect all the member companies we already represent, while also giving us good conditions to grow and include more companies to be part of us. Our stated ambition was then, and still is, to be an obvious gathering point for all types of tech companies in Sweden and to create great value for the industry and its development.

It was a relatively big suit we put on back then, on October 21, 2021, we were well aware of that. But a year later, we can happily say that we have filled it well. We have grown by about 50 member companies, with reports such as A tech agenda for Sweden, we have also broadened the picture and made visible the great values that the tech industry adds to society.

I am both proud and happy about how well our new name has landed with members, decision-makers and the media - people know about us, what we stand for and who we represent. You can hardly get better than that.
