Debate: The government's ban threatens our future

There are different ways to respond to change. If we pause to consider the issue of AI and education, there are countries that are adapting, thinking bigger, and creating strategies, such as Estonia, Finland, and the United Kingdom. Then there are countries that do not even want to acknowledge that AI and education go hand in hand, such as Sweden. This is according to TechSweden CEO Åsa Zetterberg, among others, in an article on the Dagens Industri debate page.

The article highlights, among other things, the following areas where government action is needed:

1. Includeschools in Sweden's national AI strategy.
2.Ensure that AI and digital skills are clearly included in the new curriculum.
3. Strengthenthe right to digital aids for students with disabilities so that it cannot be interpreted differently between schools.
